Karnataka's Science and Technology Minister Ajay Dharma Singh has said the state is preparing a comprehensive master plan for Pilikula Nisargadhama in Mangaluru, spread over 339.90 acres, with the tender process to prepare it due to begin shortly. Speaking at a departmental review meeting in Bengaluru, he asked that the plan cover a 10–15-year horizon, examine public-private partnership components and identify commercially sustainable facilities. He also asked officials to study a Science Gallery in the Kalyana Karnataka region and to link science centres and planetariums across the state as a connected network.
